Holy Family Council 12932  Annual Tootsie Roll Drive

October 14th & 15th

This campaign, often referred to as the “Tootsie Roll Drive” is really a “Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities”. The nickname is due to the nature of the fundraiser, in which Knights distribute Tootsie Rolls in exchange for donations used to support programs geared to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities, in particular, Special Olympics. Along with the Special Olympics funds are those also given to local programs. This years proceeds will go to Eudora ACES. Knights will be handing out these goodies before and after Mass as well as locations around Eudora & De Soto.

Make Holy Family Your Home

Have you or someone you know been away from church for a while? Have you thought about joining the Catholic Church? RCIA Inquiry Classes for Adults wanting to join the Catholic Church are available at our parish. This first part of the RCIA process doesn't require any commitment; it's merely a time to come and learn what the Catholic Church is about and have your questions answered. If you are a practicing Catholic and would like to sit in on the classes, you are welcome to come join us as well.

Pray about asking a family member that has left the church; maybe there's someone you know who's looking for something good to rely on in this mixed up world today. Sometimes all it takes is to ask them and plant that seed...
